A hand-drawn ink illustration of a quiet countryside lane at dawn, with soft rolling hills and a single bench under a broad tree, rendered in loose, flowing linework with warm grey washes.

About CoDA UK

Co-Dependents Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. CoDA UK serves the fellowship across England, Scotland, and Wales. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving relationships.

Our Tradition & Principles

CoDA is grounded in the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous with the permission of AA World Services. The fellowship provides a safe, non-judgemental space where members support one another in moving beyond patterns of codependency. There are no fees or dues; the fellowship is self-supporting through voluntary contributions.

Connection to CoDA International

CoDA UK is part of the worldwide Co-Dependents Anonymous fellowship. The international organisation, Co-Dependents Anonymous Inc., maintains resources and literature at www.coda.org. CoDA UK operates autonomously while following the traditions and guidance established by the wider fellowship.

Understanding Codependency

Codependency can take many forms, often involving patterns of denial, low self-esteem, compliance, control, and avoidance. CoDA offers a programme of recovery through self-help groups where members share experience, strength, and hope. For those new to the concept, the fellowship's approved literature provides a starting point for reflection and growth.

Visit the Literature page to explore approved CoDA books and pamphlets, or see the Further Information page for additional resources and meeting materials.

Chris Wheeler Productions brings together visionary artists and musicians to create orchestral experiences that reimagine iconic music for live audiences. From the electronic landscapes of classic albums rebuilt for full orchestra and choir, to tributes that celebrate influential figures in music history, each production is a carefully crafted journey through sound and visuals. The shows blend the energy of club culture with the depth of a symphonic ensemble, pairing singers and instrumentalists with striking visual design. These immersive performances have been heard on BBC Radio and performed at festivals, arenas, and wilderness stages, offering audiences a fresh, life-affirming encounter with beloved music.
